POTATOES IN THE OVEN WITH CHEESE AND BACON

Step 1

Pre heat the oven at 200° Celsius

Cut the potatoes approximately half centimeter thick, without cutting them completely, down to the bottom.

Step 2

Put the potatoes in a baking tray and sprinkle them with the Sabrosano oil. Make sure to distribute the oil in the cuts.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake for approximately 1 hour or until they look crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

While you cook the potatoes, take a pan and fry the bacon at medium fire until it is crunchy. Remove from fire and dry them with paper napkins.

Remove the potatoes form the oven, fill them with cheddar cheese slices, and put them in the oven again for 5 minutes.

Serve immediately adding a tablespoon of sour cream. Sprinkle a pinch of parsley and bacon.

  • 1/3 cup of Sabrosano oil
  • 4 potatoes
  • 150 gr of cheddar cheese
  • 4 bacon strips
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped chives
  • 4 tablespoons of sour cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
