PORK CHOPS WITH GARLIC AND HONEY

Directions

Step 1

For the glaze. In a medium pot, combine the honey, the garlic and the soy sauce at medium fire. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water. Pour the mixture in the pot and wait for 1 – 2 minutes until it is thick. Set aside.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, combine the flour with all the condiments. Divide the mixture in 2 small containers.

In another medium bowl, whisk the eggs with the water, set aside.

Step 3

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Immerse each pork chop in the first container of flour mixture, followed by the eggs and finishing in the flour mixture in the second container.

Step 4

Heat Sabrosano oil in a pot. Immerse 2 or 3 pork chops in the Sabrosano oil for 5 minutes each side, approximately. Remove from the pot then remove excess oil.

Step 5

Put the pork chops in a large bowl and cover them with the glaze.

Serve and decorate with green onion.

Ingredients

2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of dry thyme
1 teaspoon of dry oregano
½ teaspoon of peppers
¼ teaspoon of cayenne
2 whisked eggs
4 tablespoons of water
6- 9 thin pork chops
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of Sabrosano oil
Green sliced onions

For the glaze

½ cup of honey
4 peeled garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
¼ cup of water
