Step 1

Mix the cheese with the maize in a small pot. Add the powdered onion and garlic, the evaporated milk and salt. Cook at medium fire. Shake occasionally during first minutes and then more often to prevent cheese from sticking. Shake for approximately 5 minutes until the sauce is soft and light.

Remove from stove and let it cool at room temperature. Shake hard every 5 minutes to mix the upper layer.

Place one bacon strip on a plane surface, put a sausage diagonally to bacon, and roll it up. Use a toothpick to ensure each end. Repeat with each sausage.

In a small pan, add one tablespoon of Sabrosano oil and seize the onions. Set aside.

Meanwhile, in a medium pan, add Sabrosano oil and heat at medium high fire. Place each sausage and roll them until they are completely cook.

Heat a small comal and lightly toast the hotdogs bread. Remove and place the sausages on the bread. Cover them up with the onion and add a generous amount of cheese sauce.

Decorate the plate with the chopped bacon and enjoy!

  • 2 ½ cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 table spoon of maize
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered onion
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 6 sausages
  • 6 bacon strips
  • 6 hot dogs bread
  • 2 peeled and chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon of Sabrosano oil
  • ½ cup of chopped bacon
