Directions

Step 1

Add ½ cup of flour in a deep container clearing the center. Pour 1/3 of the beer in the center of the container and mix well.

Cut the fish steaks in strips of approximately 7×2 cm

Mix ½ of the remaining flour with ½ teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Do it in an extended container.

Step 3

Heat 0.3 liters of Sabrosano oil in a deep pot and wait for it to boil.

Take the fish strips, cover them with the salt, flour, and pepper mixture. Once the strips are completely covered, immerse them in the mixture of flour and beer.

Once the Sabrosano oil is hot, fry the fish strips for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove excess oil with a paper napkin.

Optional: Mix the tartar sauce with half a teaspoon of paprika and half a teaspoon of cayenne for a spicy touch.

Serve the fish strips with the tartar sauce, and accompany with your favorite chips!
