BREADED MUSHROOMS WITH CHEESE

Step 1

Wash the mushrooms to remove the dirt. Once they are clean, remove the stem of each piece.

Place a square of manchego cheese in the hole where the stem was. If the hole is too big, add a second one.

Once every piece is ready, add the whisked egg, the flour and the ground bread in 3 separate containers. Add a pinch of pepper to the ground bread. Cover each mushroom with the flour, followed by the egg and lastly, the ground bread. Make sure the mushroom is completely covered.

Add the Sabrosano oil in a medium pot at medium-high fire. Fry each of the mushrooms for 1 to 2 minutes until they take a golden tone. Remove from oil and dry them with a paper napkin.

Enjoy alone or accompanied with chipotle dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Sabrosano oil
  • 12 medium mushrooms
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup of flour
  • ¾ cup of ground bread
  • 12 to 15 pieces of manchego cheese in squares.
  • Black pepper to taste
