Step 1

1.      Crush the oat Flakes in a blender. Mix with the ground almonds and toast everything a medium pan for some minutes. Add the orange zest

Add the mixture in a deep container along with the honey, Sabrosano oil, egg, orange juice and a pinch of salt.

Mix well with a spatula until creating a homogenous dough.

Step 3

Make a big sphere with all the dough and wrap it with paper plastic. Keep it in the freezer for approximately 1 hour.

Pre-heat the oven to 175° Celsius.

Step 4

After one hour, take the dough out the freezer and spread it between two wax papers (to prevent from sticking) until getting a thickness of 5 mm. Then, cut into cookies, giving them any shape you want.

Step 5

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the surface looks browned.

Take them out the oven; let them cool for some minutes. Serve and enjoy!

  • 125 gr of ground almonds
  • 125 gr of crushed oat flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tables spoon of Sabrosano oil
  • 2 teaspoons of orange juice
  • A medium orange zest
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
