Directions

Step 1

To make the dough, heat the milk until is warm. Add the milk to a container and the sugar. Use the mixer. Once already dissolved, add the yeast and keep mixing. Let it stand for 5 minutes

Add the eggs and the butter. Keep mixing while adding the flour and salt, mix until is homogenous. Let it stand for 10 minutes.

Grease a medium container and add the dough covering it with plastic paper. Refrigerate it for at least 8 hours.

Step 2

Take the dough out the refrigerator and extend it over a plane floured surface, until it gets 1 ½ cm thick.

Use a donut cutter and cut one by one. Put them in a medium container, greased with Sabrosano oil. Wait approximately one hour or until the dough doubles its size.

Add Sabrosano oil in a large pot at 375° Celsius.

Step 3

While you pre-heat the oil, add the glaze ingredients in a medium container and mix well. Set aside.

Add the donuts one by one and fry them approximately for 1 minute each side. Remove from oil and with a paper napkin remove excess oil.

Step 4

Let them cool and immerse the donuts in the glaze, put them in a tray and wait until it dries. Serve and enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/8 cup of warm whole milk
¼ cup of sugar
2 ¼ teaspoons of instant dry yeast
2 lightly whisked eggs
1 ¼ butter bar
¼ teaspoons of salt
2 cups of Sabrosano oil

For the glaze

4 tablespoons of warm salted butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
3 cups of sugar glass
½ cup of milk
